Synopsis
Vena Amoris is a tender and emotionally complex short film about two close friends, Louis and
Iris, who spend a summer day together at a lake. As they float on the water, sit around a
campfire, and share quiet, intimate moments together, their deep emotional connection slowly
resurfaces and something begins to stir between them. But Iris is the ex-girlfriend of one of
Louis' closest friends. Out of loyalty, Louis decides to suppress his feelings and let her go, a
decision he now deeply regrets. Years later, looking back, he realizes that Iris was the love of
his life and that he gave up something real for the wrong reasons.
Vena Amoris is a story about unspoken love, emotional conflict, and the kind of decision that
stays with you forever. Named after the ancient belief in the “vein of love” that runs from the ring
finger to the heart, the film is a quiet reflection on timing, vulnerability, and the one that got
away.
